Welcome to Portishead Ladies Bowling Club

We welcome players of all ages and abilities and are always looking to recruit new members so, if you like the idea of some fresh air, a bit of gentle exercise, a lot of fun and a fair measure of friendly competition, why not give it a go?

We have an Open Day around the start of the season each year but, if you prefer something a bit more informal, or you just can't wait, why not contact us about coming along to one of our Monday club sessions?

2024 Captain and President's Day

Portishead Ladies currently play in two local leagues:

North Somerset Triples League and
Weston and District Ladies League 

As well as the leagues we enter teams in both the Southey Cup and the Fear Cup (/Plate).

We also have friendly matches throughout the season with other local ladies teams and a few mixed team friendlies.  These are played both at home and away.

2024: President Sandra Daisley and Captain Joy Murray welcomed Kate Milton from Homestart North Somerset (their chosen charity) to enjoy a lovely lunch with them on their final Club morning, after which they were delighted to present Kate with a cheque for £1,150 raised during the season.
