Welcome to Portishead Ladies Bowling Club

We welcome players of all ages and abilities and are always looking to recruit new members so, if you like the idea of some fresh air, a bit of gentle exercise, a lot of fun and a fair measure of friendly competition, why not give it a go?

We have an Open Day around the start of the season each year but, if you prefer something a bit more informal, or you just can't wait, why not contact us about coming along to one of our Monday club sessions?

2023 Captain and President's Day

Portishead Ladies currently play in two local leagues:

North Somerset Triples League and
Weston and District Ladies League 

As well as the leagues we enter teams in both the Southey Cup and the Fear Cup (/Plate).

We also have friendly matches throughout the season with other local ladies teams and a few mixed team friendlies.  These are played both at home and away.

2023: President Sandra Daisley and Captain Liz Parker proudly present Susan Regan, of The Cevedon & District Foodbank CIO, with a cheque for £950.00, the result of their members' fabulous support for fund raising events held throughout the season.  They also donated a further £151.00 they received for winning the Weston & District League, making a total of £1,101.00.
